Building a Bridge to an Oracle Acquisition
Over the course of four years, GoldenGate Software and Kulesa Faul worked together to raise company visibility among tier-one partners and customers, and to elevate highly technical middleware to a C-level discussion. In addition to evangelizing the growing trend toward real-time business, the KF team collaborated with internal marketing leaders on creative programs including a CIO Task Force, Customer Advisory Board and the company’s annual user conference.

Results: GoldenGate Software grew from $50M to $100M in revenues and KF played an integral role in establishing GoldenGate as a mission-critical technology for business integration. Exploiting high-profile partners including Teradata, HP and Oracle, and marquis customers like Bank of America, Dell, DIRECTV and Overstock, GoldenGate was featured in an average 70 articles each year raising market awareness for its technology and business value. In March of 2009, Oracle acquired the company and GoldenGate’s “powerful and proven integration technology” was added to the software leader’s portfolio.
